Global Day of Prayer was started with the vision of South African businessman Graham Power to call all nations of the earth to gather for a day of repentance and prayer. One year ago, In May 2009, millions of Christians from around the world participated in this monumental event, with representatives from over 220 nations gathering in Hong Kong to pray for worldwide church unity and repentance. Jaeson Ma and the 1040 team were there, and they got a glimpse of the worldwide Christian movement that is now culminating in Asia.
This week, Global Day of Prayer is celebrating its 10th anniversary at the Newlands Rugby Stadium in South Africa, where it all started. Check it out: http://www.globaldayofprayer.com/
