Evan Jackson Leong (Director)
Evan Jackson Leong is a 6th generation Chinese American native of San Francisco, California. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s Degree in Asian American studies. As a short form filmmaker he has directed numerous music videos, commercials, shorts that have played on MTV in the domestic and international markets. As a long form documentary filmmaker, he has directed two half hour nationally broadcast projects: Him Mark Lai: The People’s Historian and Forging a Feature: The Journey of Better Luck Tomorrow. In his growth as a young filmmaker he has been mentored by Justin Lin, with credits in Better Luck Tomorrow, Fast & Furious and Finishing the Game as a co-producer. He currently completed his first feature length documentary, 1040, which explores the happenings of Christianity in Asia.
Anson Ho (Producer)
Anson Ho was born and raised in San Francisco, California two blocks from the beach. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy straight after high school and served three tours in the Persian Gulf onboard the USS Oldendorf, receiving four navy achievement medals for his service. In the last few years of service, he began producing and directing bi-weekly television shows onboard to keep up crew’s morale, thereby finding his passion in life. After being certified in TV and film production at Pasadena City College, he began producing hip hop music videos, melodramatic short narratives, and short form documentaries. Anson’s personal writing projects include an hour-long musical stage play, PSA’s, short length comedy sketches, and horror web series. Notable projects include Associate Producer on Finishing the Game, Director of short documentary Building a Journey: From Better Luck Tomorrow to Finishing the Game, and Assistant to the Director on Fast & Furious.
Carl Choi (Executive Producer)
Carl Choi is the Executive Producer and Co-Founder of Asian Digital Ventures Network (ADVN). An entrepreneur, producer, talent manager, and pioneer in global Asian entertainment, Carl is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Plan C Group, a leading international Asian lifestyle and entertainment company. Carl has held senior positions with Andersen Business Consulting and Lions Gate Entertainment Cooperation. He served as the Executive Producer and Producer on No Sleep Til Shanghai , an Associate Producer on Finishing the Game and West 32nd.
Jaeson Ma
As an artist, minster, entrepreneur, author, and highly sought after international speaker, Jaeson Ma has reached hundreds of thousands around the world with his inspirational message. He is the Founder and Director of Campus Church Networks, a church-planting ministry that has planted more than 300 student-led house churches in North America and East Asia. A passionate advocate for the integration of art, entertainment, and social transformation, Jaeson is active in the entertainment industry and recently co-founded Asian Digital Ventures Network (ADVN), a global Asian multimedia company. His music album, Glory, is set to be released in 2010.
